STATEMENT OF ATTAINMENT

Pre-requisite:

  • A current MARCSTA general safety induction AND
  • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures AND
  • Knowledge of the relevant occupational safety and health legislation

A candidate wishing to obtain the national unit of competence BSB WHS201A Contribute to health and safety of self and others from the Business Services Training Package BSB07 can apply for a Statement of Attainment for that unit via RPL.

If you believe you can provide the relevant information and evidence to complete the RPL, download the RPL Application for Statement of Attainment and submit to:

On receiving the Statement of Attainment Application RPL the training provider at MARCSTA will contact you to discuss the next step.

Fee

There is a $100  fee for the processing of the RPL.

Summary:

The RPL process involves:

  • Candidate to read the Self Assessment and RPL Guide
  • Candidate to send Application and Payment to MARCSTA
  • Candidate to be sent Assessment Workbook
  • Candidate to complete and return the Workbook within 6 months to MARCSTA
  • Training Provider to Assess Candidate via interview process using the Assessor's Evidence documents
  • If successful, candidate to be issued Statement of Attainment
  •  Candidate to supply feedback about RPL process
