Membership

MARCSTA Membership

Members may attend all general meetings with nomination and voting rights. They receive all publications and material produced by the Association and registration discounts at seminars or other programs organised by MARCSTA.

Associate members enjoy all the benefits above with the exception of nomination and voting rights.

Membership Qualifications: Ordinary

Ordinary Membership of the Association is open to:

(a) any company or corporation operating or directly contracting into the resources or other industry sectors

(b) an appointed official of the company

A company, corporation or appointed official who wishes to become a member shall:

• apply in writing to the Management Committee (the Membership Application form).
• have the application signed by an Executive, Director or Secretary of the company or corporation.

The Management Committee shall consider each application made under subrule 5(2) at a Committee meeting and shall at the Committee meeting or subsequent Committee meetings, accept or reject the application. The Secretary will then convey the Committee’s decision to the prospective member and, if the application is rejected, the reasons for such rejection.

Annual fee for Ordinary Membership is $330 per annum (inclusive of GST)

Membership Qualifications: Associate

Associate membership of the Association is open to:

• any person or corporation having, in the opinion of the Committee of Management, a connection with the resources or other industry but not a sufficient connection to become an Ordinary member.
• any person or corporation who wishes to become an Associate member shall apply to the Committee in writing (the Membership Application form.

The Committee of Management shall consider each application made under sub-rule 5(2) at a Committee meeting and shall, at the Committee meeting or subsequent Committee meetings, accept or reject the application. The Secretary will then convey the Committee’s decision to the prospective member and if the application is rejected, the reasons for such rejection.

Annual fee for Associate Membership is $110 per annum (inclusive of GST).
